Hour 1: A Kids Bible Study

Dawn begins the morning with a devotional from Blackaby Ministries International about resisting the temptation to live a self-centered and unruffled life.

Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me."   Matthew 16:24

Author Rebecca Mclaughlin helps us share the Bible with our children! She has written the book Exploring the Earliest Gospel: A Kids Bible Study on Jesus and His Good News.

Rebecca holds a Ph.D. in Renaissance Literature from Cambridge University and a degree in theological and pastoral studies from Oak Hill Theological College in London. She is the author of  Confronting Christianity: 12 Hard Questions for the World's Largest Religion (Crossway, 2019)—named Book of the Year 2020 by Christianity Today, 10 Questions Every Teen Should Ask (and Answer) About Christianity (Crossway, 2021), The Secular Creed: Engaging 5 Contemporary Claims (TGC, 2021), and Is Christmas Unbelievable? 4 Questions Everyone Should Ask About the World's Most Famous Story (TGBC, 2021). Rebecca grew up in London and she met her husband, Bryan, when they were both in grad school at Cambridge. Bryan comes from Oklahoma and they now live in Cambridge Massachusetts, with their three children.

Hour 2: The Giving Crisis

Why is the contemporary church facing a financial crisis of epic proportions? Andrew McNair gives us insight into his book releasing April 25th titled The Giving Crisis: Helping Average Givers Become Everyday Philanthropists

Andrew Mcnair has inspired readers and audiences to learn ways to give more and save more by implementing tangible habits to help them achieve their philanthropic goals. He is the author of Don't Be Penny Wise & Dollar Foolish and Tithe: A Living Testimony. Andrew has been featured on Fox Business, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Kiplinger, and Market Watch. He is the radio show host of What Your Money Would Say and the podcast host of Rich Young & Powerful. He is the founder of SWAN Capital, 9 figure wealth management firm, and the Cygnet Fund, a real estate hedge fund.

Also this hour, author Mary DeMuth has some wisdom and hope for parents of grown-ups. She will share some practical tips based on the discipleship model Jesus exemplified. Mary has written the book Love, Pray, Listen: Parenting Your Wayward Adult Kids with Joy

Mary loves Jesus. She is an author and speaker who loves to help readers and audiences live uncaged, freedom-infused lives. She’s been writing for 30+ years–half of them in obscurity. She mentored many writers during that time and continues to do so through the Rockwall Christian Writers Group and some of her instructional books. She has written over 45 books, translated into five languages. You can see a listing of all her books on AmazonBarnes and NobleCBDLifeway and Parable. Mary pioneered a literary agency in 2022, Mary DeMuth Literary, where she shepherds writers toward traditional publishing. She currently lives in North Texas, serves in her local church alongside her husband and she has three adult children. Mary counts these relationships as the most important people in her life. Although her past story is difficult, her current story leaks adventure. Not only has Mary been restored and restoried, but she longs to see the same for you.
